Green tea and forgetfulness

Green tea and forgetfulness:

Green tea is a teapot obtained from leaves of Camellia sinensis plant. Black tea we use daily is obtained from the same plant again. However, while the leaves are dried slowly for black tea, when the green tea is obtained, the leaves are dried and quickly dried without being collected. Therefore, black tea enters the reaction with oxygen during drying, whereas green tea is not allowed to react with oxygen because it is dried quickly.

Both black tea and green tea contain caffeine. However, the rate of caffeine in green tea is lower. Both teas have antioxidant properties. Considering the amount, the amount of antioxidant in black tea is higher than that of black tea because green tea is dried faster and processed less.

Scientists working at the University of Basel in Switzerland have found that green tea extract has an effect on memory by strengthening brain activity. The results of the research were published in the scientific journal "Psychopharmacology".

This work at the University of Basel revealed that green tea extract increased brain activity. It also shows that green tea can be effective in improving people suffering from psychiatric diseases and memory loss.

Participants in the study were given a drink with green tea essence, and then they were subjected to a memory test and brain images were examined.

It has been found that the connection between the parietal and prefrontal cortex sections in the brain of green tea drinkers is improved and these people are more successful in the tests.

It has been proven that green tea, which had previously been effective in fighting cancer and that it was good for cardiovascular diseases, strengthened cognitive activities, especially memory, for the first time.

Although the taste is not as good (according to most people), it has been revealed through studies that consumption of green tea at certain intervals may be beneficial for health. By drinking green tea, you can also be protected from cardiovascular diseases and forgetfulness as well as from cancer.
